CERT G-317 (basic CERT course)

“Community Emergency Response Teams”, CERT-G-317, is a course that serves as an introduction to CERT for those wanting to complete training or as a refresher for current team members. CERT Program educated citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
Course Dates & Hours:
Day 1 – September 18, 2020 (Friday) 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Day 2 – September 19, 2020 (Saturday) 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Day 3 – September 20, 2020 (Sunday) 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

CERT offers a consistent, nationwide approach to volunteer training and organization that professional responders can rely on during disaster situations, which allows them to focus on more complex tasks. Through CERT, the capabilities to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters is built and enhanced.
